My passion for languages and cultures led me to take a bold step at 16—I left Japan and moved to the U.S. to experience another culture firsthand.
Today, I help bring Japanese culture to audiences worldwide through expert translation and cultural guidance. Whether it’s films, literature, or media, I love helping people by bridging the gap using my knowledge of both cultures.
Translation goes beyond textbooks. Though I lived half of my life in Japan , I still like to deepen my understanding of Japanese culture by training in Japanese jujutsu, and kenjutsu (sword art).
Origami is another unique Japanese art that I enjoy practicing.
I have folded many origami cranes, way over 1000 for weddings.
